Fulton County Sheriff's car

MAYFIELD — A Mayfield man engaged in a fight in front of two children last week before surrendering to sheriff's deputies, Fulton County Sheriff's officials said Thursday.

Drake C. Dolder, 28, fled the Oak Lane scene on foot during the April 16 incident before deputies from the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department arrived. When they were called back, Dolder was spotted running inside and refused to come out, according to a release.

K9 Loki was soon "deployed to the front of the residence." By 2:28 a.m. Dolder was apprehended by police without further incident, officials said.

Dolder at the time was allegedly violating an order of protection. In what the agency claimed to be a domestic incident by officials, he allegedly caused property damage.

The man has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree criminal contempt, third-degree assault, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood flow, misdemeanors, and third-degree criminal mischief, a felony.

Dolder was brought to Fulton County jail before arraignment. He has since been bailed out, according to Lt. Peter Watrobski.

The alleged perpetrator is expected to appear in the Mayfield Town Court at a later date.

Fulton County Sheriff Richard Giardino said that he will soon be able to provide additional information.
