Gloversville to host field hockey clinic
GLOVERSVILLE — The Gloversville field hockey program will host a spring clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 11 to June 19.
The clinic is open to first- through sixth-graders and practice will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Gloversville High School. Games are scheduled for Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Registration will take place April 30 at the Gloverville High School turf field from 5 to 6 p.m. Those signing up should bring a completed registration for and cash or a check made out to Gloversville Field Hockey.
The cost will be $60 per child and the cost for families with more than one child participating will be $50. The fee includes a pinnie.
Participants will learn the basic skills of field hockey.
