Ringer nets five goals in Lady Bills’ victory

JOHNSTOWN — Taryn Ringer connected for five goals and an assist to lead Johnstown to a 13-4 Foothills Council victory over Greenwich Friday night at Knox Field.

Molly Memrick added three goals and three assists, while Reagan Wilcon had a goal and two assists and Kalen Eaton and Emily Fleming added a goal and an assist apiece. Molly Sweeney, Sadie Blowers both scored and Nicole Simon had an assist for the Lady Bills.

Ryan Skiff had 15 saves in goal for Greenwich, while Lindsay Lamori had 12 saves for Johnstown (2-2)

Scotia-Glenville 18, Amsterdam 4

SCOTIA — Olivia Geniti finished with six goals and three assists to power Scotia-Glenville to a Foothills Council victory over Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth.

Abby Esperti posted four goals and two assists for the Tartans, Kayla Cannoe had three goals, and Karaline McCarthy had two goals and an assist.

Morgan Nichter registered a goal and three assists for Scotia-Glenville, Lia DiCarlo had a goal and an assist, and Rebecca Carpenter also scored.

Annika Fedullo, Olivia Fraser, Sophia Rogers and Karen Troche scored goals for Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth.

Maya Westbrook finished with five saves for Scotia-Glenville.

Jayla McGaffin made five saves for Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth.

Amsterdam/Broadalbin-Perth (0-4 overall, 0-4 Foothills) is scheduled to travel to Glens Falls today for a 3 p.m. contest.
