OESJ edges Fonda-Fultonville, 3-2

FONDA — Jordan DeNinno scored twice to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville to a 3-2 victory over Fonda-Fultonville in a Western Athletic Conference girls soccer contest at Boshart Field on Monday.

Ashley Engle also scored for the Lady Wolves, while Madisyn Schell added an assist.

Nadia Buanno and Colleen Chest scored for FFCS.

The Lady Wolves outshot the Lady Braves by a 16-6 margin.

Anderson Eggleston made for saves for OESJ, while Kyleigh Fonda made 11 stops for Fonda-Fultonville.

Galway 2, Berne-Knox-Westerlo 0

COLONIE — Izzy Mancini and Emma Spadaro scored second-half goals to lift Galway to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Berne-Knox-Westerlo on Monday at Afrim’s Sports Park.

Stephanie Martin had an assist for the Golden Eagles.

Hannah French made five saves to earn the shutout in goal for Galway.

Kaelyn LoBalbo had five saves for Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Schoharie 8, Mekeel Christian 0

COLONIE — Katie Krohn posted four goals and three assists to lead Schoharie to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Mekeel Christian Academy at Afrim’s Sports Park.

Haley Drinon had three goals for the Indians, while Morgan Phelan had a goal and an assist. Megan Krohn registered two assists for Schoharie, while Briana Repscher had one assist.

Maddie Bland made four saves to post the shutout in goal for Schoharie.

Hannah Biscossi finished with seven saves for Mekeel Christian.

Duanesburg 4, Middleburgh 0

COLONIE — Olivia Harris scored four goals to lead Duanesburg to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Middleburgh at Afrim’s Sports Park.

Morgan Crouse finished with three saves to post the shutout for Duanesburg.

Cameryn Shultes made for saves for Middleburgh.

Foothills Council

Queensbury 11, Hudson Falls 0

QUEENSBURY — Christina Cummings finished with three goals and an assist to lead Queensbury to a lopsided 11-0 Foothills Council victory over Hudson Falls on Monday.

Brigid Duffy posted two goals and three assists for the Spartans, who had seven different players score.

Emma Lemery and Bayley Duffy shared shutout in goal for Queensbury (3-0 overall)

Karly Jackson finished with 11 saves for Hudson Falls.
