Patriots improve to 4-0 with win over Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN — The Broadalbin-Perth Patriots got scoring from 10 players as they defeated a short-handed Johnstown squad 73-24 in Fulton County League action Friday night at Johnstown High School.

Jadon Wert led the Patriots (4-0) with 18 points, while Jackson Sassanella had 15 and Ryan Savoie finished with 11 points.

Camron VanSlyke led Johnstown with seven points, while Bryce Mureness added five points and Caden Mureness and Steven VanNostrand finished with four points apiece.

NORTHVILLE — Gloversville rallied for 22 fourth-quarter points to pull out a 51-40 victory over Northville in Fulton County League action Friday night at Northville High School.

James Collar delivered an 18-point effort for the Dragons, while Garrett Dooling had 11 points and Gio Glionna and Anthony Gray finished with nine points apiece to go with four points from Mekhi Lanier.

Daniel VanNostrand led Northville with a game-high 19 points, while JT Artikuski finished with 11 and Jacob Frank added nine points for the Falcons.

STILLWATER — Jacob Zecca hit three 3-pointers in his team-hith 15 points to lead Stillwater to a 63-47 victory over Galway Friday night at Stillwater High School.

Tyler Paffen added 13 points for the Warriors.

Henry Flint hit a game-high 17 points for Galway, while Zach Kenyon finished with nine and Braden Boudran chipped in with six.
