Lady Panthers cruise to victory over Gloversville

MAYFIELD — Cloey Dopp finished with 26 points to power Mayfield to an 81-17 victory over Gloversville in a Fulton County League girls basketball game Saturday at Mayfield High School.

The Lady Panthers outscored the Lady Dragons 39-12 in the first half on their way to the win.

Kelsey Meca finished with 25 points for Mayfield, while Adriana Yuret also finished in double figures with 13 points. Sallyann Agerter netted eight points for the Lady Panthers, who had all eight players score.

Abigail Curtis scored 11 points to lead Gloversville, while Elizabeth Campione (6 points) was the other other Lady Dragon to score.

Mayfield (1-1 overall) is slated to travel to Northville today for a 6:30 p.m. game.

Gloversville (0-2 overall) is scheduled to travel to Johnstown today for a 6:30 p.m. contest.

NORTHVILLE — Makenzie Smith scored 22 points to lead Broadalbin-Perth to a Fulton County League victory over Northville on Saturday.

The Lady Patriots outscored the Lady Falcons 33-6 in the second half to post the win.

Emma Goebel connected on five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points for B-P, while Lauralie Grainer added 12 points.

Jaycee Frasier scored 10 points to lead Northville, while Kerrigan Groff added nine points.

Broadalbin-Perth (2-0 overall) is scheduled to host Mayfield on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., while Northville (0-1 overall) is slated to host Mayfield today at 6:30 p.m.

GALWAY — Sydney Hart scored 26 points to power South Glens Falls to a Saratoga County League victory over Galway on Saturday.

The Bulldogs outscored the Golden Eagles 63-22 over the final three quarters to earn the win.

Kaitlin MacDonough and Hannah Breen each had 10 points for South Glens Falls, while Alivia Killian added nine points. Mary Fitzsimmons and Jade Maille each had eight points for the Bulldogs.

Izzy Mancini scored 12 points to lead Galway, while Hannah French added six points.

The Golden Eagles are scheduled to host Saratoga Central Catholic on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
