Gloversville bowlers top Queensbury
GLOVERSVILLE — Adam Loveless connected for a 707 triple to lead Gloversville to a 4-0 victory over Queensbury in a match that was scheduled for Feb. 1 and completed Monday.
Bowling at Arterial Lanes, Loveless hit games of 229, 221 and 257 for the match-high 707. Mark Sgambato finished with a 244-648 triple, while Adrian Dorman finished with a 233-615 and London Tallon added a 236-605.
Bowling at Kingpin’s Alleys, Max Nussbaum led Queensbury with his 209-538, while Britney Persutti rolled 205-501 and Cameron Fuller delivered a 173-483 effort.
Gloversville (34-4) rolled games of 1,158, 1,081 and 1,208 for 3,447 total pins, while Queensbury (3-17) finished with games of 864, 948 and 930 for 2,742 total pins.
South Glens Falls 4, Johnstown 0
SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Jacob Hall and Will Bickford both topped the 700-mark in South Glens Falls victory over Johnstown to complete a match that was scheduled for Feb. 1.
Hall rolled games of 280, 279 and 200 for a 759 triple, while Bickford added games of 226, 236 and 246 for a 708 triple. Dalton Jones finished with a 222-632 series for the Bulldogs.
Mick Winton rolled a 277-606 to lead Johnstown, while Brianna Subik finished with a 196-522 triple and Steve Hulbert rolled a 217-520 series.
South Glens Falls (28-4) rolled games of 1,293, 1,267 and 1,143 for 3,703 total pins, while Johnstown (13-31) had games of 997, 1,119 and 971 for 3,087 total pins.
