JOHNSTOWN — Fonda-Johnstown won nine of 11 events on its way to a 118-46 victory over Hudson Falls-South Glens Falls in a Foothills Council swim meet Friday.

Scout Huckans (200-yard freestyle, 500 freestyle) and Vincent Rizzo (100 freestyle, 200 individual medley) each won two events for Fonda-Johnstown.

Connor Harding (100 butterfly) and D.J. Long (100 backstroke) also posted individual event wins for Fonda-Johnstown, which also picked up victories in the 200 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays.

Avery Willis won the 100 breaststroke and 50 freestyle for Hudson Falls-South Glens Falls.

The 1-meter diving event was not contested.

The meet was contested virtually with each team swimming at their home pools. The scores were combined later.
