H.S. Bowling Roundup: Johnstown sweeps Schuylerville

JOHNSTOWN — Mick Winton rolled games of 216 and 256 on his way to a 659 series to lead Johnstown to a 4-0 victory over Schuylerville in a Foothills Council bowling match Tuesday,

The match was contested virtually with Johnstown competing at Perry Lanes and Schuylerville at Old Saratoga Bowl.

Steven Hulbert posted a 201-576 for the Sir Bills, while Camron Sweet had a 170-499. Patrick Clemence rolled a 182-489 for Johnstown and Damien Roth added a 173-469.

Carson Griffin led Schuylerville with a 202-553, while Lucas Woodcock posted a 168-474.

Johnstown finished with a 3,047-2,546 advantage in total pins.

Fort Plain 4, Duanesburg 0

CANAJOHARIE — Anthony Paradiso rolled games of 210 and 214 on his way to a 572 series to help Fort Plain sweep Duanesburg in a Western Athletic Conference bowling match.

The match was contested virtually with Fort Plain bowling at Iroquois Lanes and Duanesburg competing at Town N Country Lanes.

Zack Young rolled a 193-557 for the Hilltoppers, Landen VanAlstine posted a 235-549 and Damien Young had a 196-546. Ian Zuppardi added a 193-506 for Fort Plain.

Tyler Drexel led Duanesburg with a 218-581, while Vic Silva added a 165-448.

Fort Plain finished with a 2,730-1,796 advantage in total pins.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo 4, OESJ 0

VANHORNESVILLE — Christian Jones rolled a 226-546 to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville in a 4-0 loss to Berne-Knox-Westerlo on Monday.

Steven Johnson posted a 158-474 for the Wolves, while Zack Blowers added a 166-456.

On Jan. 7, OESJ dropped a 4-0 decision to Mayfield.

Johnson led Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville with a 206-5774, while Jones rolled a 189-534.

Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville is scheduled to face Duanesburg today.
