Gloversville bowlers top Amsterdam, 4-0

GLOVERSVILLE — Mark Sgambato rolled games of 222, 236 and 228 to finished with a 686 series to help Gloversville post a 4-0 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council bowling match Friday.

Adrian Dorman posted a 256-675 for the Huskies, London Tallon finished with a 226-612 and Adam Loveless had a 237-608.

Riley Griffiths recorded a 210-568 for Gloversville and Brad Wisniewski added a 190-530.

Mekhi Curry led Amsterdam with a 225-625, while Jon Wolff had a 215-572. Donavan Lazier finished with a 194-536 for the Rams, Matt Sawitzki had a 213-534 and Austin Semprivivo rolled a 193-530. Patrick Hyam added a 194-507 for Amsterdam.

Gloversville finished with a 3,679-3,304 advantage in total pins.

The match was contested virtually with Gloversville competing at Arterial Lanes and Amsterdam bowling at Imperial Lanes. The scores were combined later.

Johnstown 4,

Hudson Falls 0

JOHNSTOWN — Mick Winton rolled a 224-620 to lead Johnstown to a 4-0 victory over Hudson Falls in a Foothills Council bowling match Friday.

Steven Hulbert finished with a 223-555 for the Sir Bills, while Damien Roth had a 201-524.

John Wilkening posted a 135-361 to lead Hudson Falls.

Johnstown finished with a 3,037-1,840 advantage in total pins.

The match was contested virtually with Johnstown bowling at Perry Lanes and Hudson Falls competing at Broadway Lanes in Fort Edward.
