Gloversville bowlers sweep Schuylerville
GLOVERSVILLE — The Gloversville Huskies improved their season record to 8-4 overall with a 4-0 victory over Schuylerville in Foothills Council bowling action Friday.
Gloversville, bowling at Arterial Lanes, posted game scores of 1,120, 1,191 and 1,258 for a total of 3,569 pins.
Schuylerville, bowling at Old Saratoga Bowl, rolled games of 1,103, 956, 1.026 for 3,085 total pins.
Gloversville’s Brad Wisniewski led all bowlers with his 235-652 performance, while Adam Loveless rolled 227-620, Mark Sgambato had a 237-615 triple to go with a 209-600 from A.J. Dorman. London Tallon added a 225-568 effort and Riley Griffiths rounded out the Gloversville scoring with his 173-514 effort.
Micah Grant paced Schuylerville (1-11) with his 214-605 performance. Lucas Woodcock finished with a 233-575, while Carson Griffin rolled 199-543 and Stephen Geiling added a 235-508 to go with a 176-479 from Nate Turcotte and a 137-375 by Jameson Brownell.
Broadalbin-Perth 3, Schuylerville 1
AMSTERDAM — Derek Goebel finished with a 198-552 to lead Broadalbin-Perth to a 3-1 victory over Schuylerville in a Foothills Council bowling match Thursday.
Jake Pavone posted a 192-527 for the Patriots, Alex Filmer had a 192-525 and Jennah Graham added a 192-519. Andy Simonds rolled a 181-495 for B-P, while Joe Simonds finished with a 170-469.
Carson Griffin paced Schuylerville with a 186-522, while Micah Grant rolled a 191-520. Stephen Geiling added a 187-504 for the Black Horses.
Broadalbin-Perth finished with a 3,087-2,830 advantage in total pins.
