Auspelmyer’s 694 powers Braves’ win
AMSTERDAM — Ethan Auspelmyer rolled games of 217, 233 and 244 and finished with a 694 series to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a 4-0 victory over Fort Plain in a Western Athletic Conference match Wednesday.
The match was contested virtually with Fonda-Fultonville bowling at Imperial Lanes and Fort Plain competing at Iroquois Lanes.
Hayden Auspelmyer posted a 267-629 for the Braves, Tomek Kowalczyk rolled a 255-623 and Kyle Davis had a 181-532. Anthony Cannizzaro added a 176-471 for FFCS, which finished with a 2,949-2,736 advantage in total pins.
Anthony Paradiso rolled a 225-609 to lead Fort Plain, while Zach Young had a 212-601. Landon VanAlstine posted a 183-505 for the Hilltoppers, and Chris Burgess added a 173-494.

VANHORNESVILLE — Tyler Drexel finished with a 276-648 to lead Duanesburg to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville on Wednesday.
The match was contested virtually with OESJ bowling at Route 80 Bowl and Duanesburg competing at Town N Country Lanes.
Anthony Tenace posted a 170-454 for the Eagles, while Vic Silva had a 154-434.
Christian Jones recorded a 235-567 to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville, while Steven Johnson posted a 160-419. Isibel Handy added a 155-402 for the Wolves.
Duanesburg finished with a 2,309-2,195 advantage in total pins.
