Amsterdam bowlers improve to 25-3
AMSTERDAM — The Amsterdam Rams improved their record to 25-3 on the season with a 4-0 victory over Schuylerville in virtual Foothills Council bowling action Thusday at Imperial Lanes and Old Town Alleys.
Patrick Hyam paced Amsterdam with his 247-649 triple, while Donavan Lazier rolled a 225-643 and Jon Wolff finished with a 213-628. Kai Brennan added a 189-548 to go with a 184-537 triple from Matt Sawitzki rolled 184-537 and Mekhi Curry finished with a 1991-517 triple to round out the Rams’ scoring.
Lucas Woodcock led the Black Horses with his 214-523 triple, while Carson Griffin finished with 194-517 and Ryan Rubertello chipped in with a 176-509 series.
Stephen Geiling (189-466), Nate Turcotte (160-448) and Jameson Brownell (168-426) round out the scoring for Schuylerville.
Amsterdam posted games of 1,216, 1,214 and 1,092 for 3,522 total pins, while Schuylerville had games of 905, 1,018 and 966 for 2,889 total pins.
