H.S. Golf Roundup: Gloversville, Mayfield/Northville golfers post wins

GLOVERSVILLE — Cole Raczynski carded a 47 to help Gloversville post a 226-227 victory over Scotia-Glenville in its Foothills Council opener Wednesday at Kingsboro Golf Club.

Dillon Lamphear finished with a 55 for the Huskies (1-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills), Bradley Wisniewski posted a 58 and Frankie DeMaio added a 66.

Dante Bianchi and Alex Hodge each had rounds of 53 to lead Scotia-Glenville (0-2 overall, 0-2 Foothills).

Frank Lotano posted a 58 for the Tartans, while John Burke added a 63.

Scotia-Glenville is slated to host Amsterdam today at Stadium Golf Club at 4 p.m., while Gloversville is set to host Broadalbin-Perth today at Kingsboro Golf Club at 4 p.m.

Mayfield/Northville 13, OESJ 2

JOHNSTOWN — Tyler Maples posted a six-hole score of 26 to lead Mayfield/Northville to a 13-2 victory over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville in a Western Athletic Conference match Wednesday at Hales Mills Country Club.

Aiden Martuscello had a 31 for Mayfield/Northville, Jordan Miller carded a 32 and George Abdella and Andrew Cordone each posted rounds of 34. Caleb Clapper added a 52 for Mayfield/Northville.

Brandon Hulten finished with a 37 to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville, while Jesse Watson had a 39.

Blake Bergen carded a 42 for the Wolves, Josie Brundage had a 43, David Doxtater notched a 44 and Anderson Eggleston added a 50.

Mayfield/Northville is scheduled to travel to Canajoharie today for a 4 p.m. match.

Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville is set to host Galway today at Hopson Hills Golf Course in Dolgeville at 4 p.m.

Fonda-Fultonville 15, Middleburgh 0

FORT JOHNSON — Colin Kowalski finished with a six-hole total of 25 to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Middleburgh at Rolling Hills Country Club.

Noah Moran posted a 27 for the Braves, while Alex Saltsman and Cayden Egelston had a 32.

Colby Monty finished with a 35 for FFCS and Nick Hastings added a 41.

John Bruno finished with a 29 for Middleburgh, while Will Churchill had a 33. Josh Reinhart had a 38 for the Knights, Tyler Mann posted a 41, Matt Croote carded a 43 and Shane Smith added a 47.

Fonda-Fultonville is scheduled to travel to Hillcrest Golf Course to face Duanesburg today at 4 p.m.
