H.S. Golf Roundup: Amsterdam edges Broadalbin-Perth
AMSTERDAM — C.J. Durinick carded a 38 to help Amsterdam post a 179-180 victory over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council boys golf match at Amsterdam Municipal Golf Course.
Ryan Welch finished with a 45 for the Rams, Andy Welch posted a 46 and Quinn Healy added a 50.
Tommy Ziskin had a 51 for Amsterdam, Kyle Bottisti finished with a 53 and Lucca Quatrini posted a 54. Sal Conti added a 55 for the Rams, who avenged their only loss of the season. B-P topped Amsterdam, 154-164, at Holland Meadows Golf Course on Oct. 8.
Ryan Hertik led Broadalbin-Perth with a 44, while Connor Canale and Jake Terwilliger each had rounds of 45. Colin Cotter added a 46 for the Patriots, who suffered their first loss of the season. Landon Russom and Nate Phillips each had rounds of 49 for B-P, while Brandon Miller carded a 50. Lorenzo Tambasco added a 52 for the Patriots.
Johnstown 176, Gloversville 193
JOHNSTOWN — Will Gerlach posted a 39 to lead Johnstown to a Foothills Council victory over Gloversville at Fox Run Golf Club.
Aiden Greene had a 40 for the Sir Bills, Carter Cheney posted a 48 and Antonio DeMarco added a 49.
Cole Raczynski posted a 43 to lead Gloversville, while Bradley Wisniewski and Frankie DeMaio each had rounds of 46. Dylan Lamphear finished with a 63 for the Huskies.
For the Johnstown girls, Mollie Kortz posted a 46 and Claire Anderson finished with a 50.
