FULTONVILLE — With a shortened 2020 racing season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, officials at the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park have scheduled a fall weekend of racing to close out the racing season.

On Friday, the lights fire up around the Montgomery County facility with a full night of racing on tap. The Red Chair DIRTcar 602 Crate Sportsman, Yurkewecz Auto Crushers DIRTcar Pro Stocks, Limited Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, Northeast Paving and Sealcoating All-Star and Junior Slingshots are all on the racing card for one more time.

The night is already gaining some ground with Bob Godgart of KillerCrate Racing Engines has posted $50 gift certificates to the winner of the 602 Crate, Pro Stock and Limited Sportsman divisions. Leeann Achzet has put up $50 to the fastest lap time in the Pro Stock feature event. This will also be the last chance for DIRTcar Sportsman and DIRTcar Pro-Stocks to collect last minute Hoosier Racing Tire Weekly Championship Points.

Pits are scheduled to open at 4 p.m., hot laps begin at 6:45 p.m. and heat racing at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, Glen Ridge will host its third Enduro of the season to go along with Demolition Derbies in what will be a Halloween Havoc of epic proportions.

Rules are posted on the track’s website www.glenridgemp.com! Gates open at 10 a.m. and racing is set to begin at 1 p.m.

Anyone wishing to be part of the event, feel free to message the track on Facebook www.facebook.com/GlenRidgeMP, or email theridgebutch@gmail.com.

The only unfortunate part of this racing deal is, due to the COVID-19 regulations, no fans are allowed.
