Girls Basketball Roundup: FFCS rolls past Galway, 54-20

GALWAY — Abby Lombardoni finished with 18 points and nine steals to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a 54-20 victory over Galway in a Western Athletic Conference girls basketball contest Tuesday.

The Lady Braves outscored the Golden Eagles 19-4 in the first quarter on their way to the win.

Lyndsay Lombardoni had 12 points and seven rebounds for FFCS (16-2 overall, 12-0 WAC), while Kyla Smith added 14 points.

Julia Reedy scored six points to lead Galway (4-14 overall, 3-9 WAC).

FFCS will face Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk in a non-league game Sunday at 2 p.m.

LITTLE FALLS — Olivia Lindsay scored 17 points to help Little Falls to a victory over Dolgeville.

Gabby Sylstra finished with 13 points for the Mounties, while Riley Dunn, Shayna Straney and Stella Rowley all scored eight points.

Hannah Stack scored a game-high 30 points to lead Dolgeville.

Stack also had six rebounds and two assists.

Kerisa VanOlst had 11 points, three assists and two rebounds for the Blue Devils. Hannah Spofford had a team high seven rebounds and four assists.

Dolgeville (7-11 overall) is scheduled to travel to Marathon for a non-league game on Thursday.
