FMCC men lose to HVCC, 92-68

TROY — Luke Bourgault scored 15 points to lead Hudson Valley Community College to a 92-69 victory over Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a Mountain Valley Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday.

The Vikings led 45-33 at the half on their way to the win.

Brandon McKenly finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds for HVCC, while Zach Hilton had 14 points. Avery Deas had 12 points and five rebounds for the Vikings and Ryan Long added 10 points.

Javan Johns scored a game-high 21 points and pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds to lead FMCC, which suffered its seventh straight loss.

Matthew Boyle finished with 20 points for the Raiders, who finished their season with a 5-17 overall record.
