H.S. Bowling Roundup: Dorman rolls 300 game in Huskies’ win

AMSTERDAM — A.J. Dorman rolled a 300 game and finished with a 696 series to help Gloversville to 4-0 victory over Amsterdam at Kelly’s Imperial Lanes in a Foothills Council bowling match Monday.

Adam Loveless had games of 225, 247 and 267 and finished with a 739 series for the Huskies, Mark Sgambato had a 279-715 and Aiden Carter had a 254-650. Riley Griffiths added a 216-624 for Gloversville, which finished with a school-record total of 3,947 pins. Amsterdam had a total of 3,653.

Jon Wolff had a 267-673 to lead the Rams, Mekhi Curry rolled a 245-664 and Matt Sawitzki finished with a 233-610. Patrick Hyam recorded a 223-594 for Amsterdam, Donavan Lazier had a 210-590 and Kai Brennan added a 181-522.

Johnstown 3, Schuylerville 1

SCHUYLERVILLE — Steven Hulbert had a 245-616 to lead Johnstown to a Foothills Council victory over Schuylerville at Old Saratoga Bowl on Monday.

Brianna Subik posted a 569 series for Johnstown and Liam Ackerbauer added a 496.

Carson Griffin had a 601 series to lead Schuylerville, while Ethan Corlew added a 531.

Johnstown (31 1/2-20 1/2 Foothills) finished with a 3,179-3,001 advantage in total pins.

Broadalbin-Perth 2, Scotia-Glenville 2

SCHENECTADY — Matt Danise rolled a high game of 267 and finished with a 613 series to help Broadalbin-Perth to a draw with Scotia-Glenville in a Foothills Council match at Boulevard Bowl on Monday.

Jennah Graham finished with a 234-590 for Broadalbin-Perth, while Derek Goebel added a 209-548.

E.J. Adams had a 257-644 to lead Scotia-Glenville, Nick Auspelmyer posted a 228-605 and Aiden Bisaillon added a 216-579.

B-P finished with a 3,239-3,202 advantage in total pins.

Glens Falls 2, South Glens Falls 2

SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Jocelyn Smith had games of 225, 227 and 228 to finished with a 680 series to help Glens Falls tie South Glens Falls in a Foothills Council match at Kingpin’s Alley.

Payton Granger had a 226-631 for the Indians (21-31 Foothills), Joe Cook rolled a 215-576 and Micheal Blockburger added a 243-532.

Willis Bickford rolled a 253-700 to lead South Glens Falls (33-19 Foothills), while Chris Sharpe posted a 256-682. Mykal Brunelle rolled a 212-575 for the Bulldogs nd Dalton Jones added a 212-550.

Glens Falls finished with a 3,379-3,343 advantage in total pins.

Hudson Falls 4, Queensbury 0

SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Logan Bennett finished with 275-707 to lead Hudson Falls to a Foothills Council victory over Queensbury at Kingpin’s Alley.

Aaron Fuller posted a 204-597 for the Tigers, Jon Lemery had a 216-582 and Scott Ottalagano added a 207-562.

Tony Fedele posted a 160-453 to lead Queensbury.

Hudson Falls finished with a 3,482-2,372 advantage in total pins.

Canajoharie 4, Berne-Knox-Westerlo 0

GUILDERLAND — Barry Yerdon rolled a 247-615 to lead Canajoharie to a WAC victory over Berne-Knox-Westerlo at Town N Country Lanes on Monday.

Dereck Mereness posted a 210-551 for te Cougars, who finished with a 2,410-2,015 advantage in total pins.

Jacob Morseman rolled a 153-425 to lead Berne-Knox-Westerlo, while Sam Lawlor added a 134-405.

Fonda-Fultonville 4, OESJ 0

AMSTERDAM — Kyle Davis finished with games of 208, 214 and 245 on his way to a 667 to help Fonda-Fultonville to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville at Kelly’s Imperial Lanes on Monday.

Korey Davis posted a 214-632 for the Braves, while Hayden Auspelmyer had a 220-542. Dylan Livingston added a 171-501 for Fonda-Fultonville.

Steven Johnson rolled a 204-589 to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville.

FFCS finished with a 2,919-2,305 advantage in total pins.

Fort Plain 4, Mayfield 0

CANAJOHARIE — Brady Fureno finished with a 230-651 to lead Fort Plain to a WAC victory over Mayfield at Iroquois Lanes on Monday.

Anthony Paradiso had a 235-623 for the Hilltoppers, Damien Young posted a 205-561 and Taylor Gifford added a 198-547.

R.J. Jackson rolled a 181-492 to lead Mayfield, while Logan VanNostrand had a 191-476. Dylan Scott posted a 172-451 for the Panthers and Lee Smith added a 162-435.

Fort Plain finished with a 2,875-2,280 advantage in total pins.

Schoharie 4, Canajoharie 0

MIDDLEBURGH — Louis Hardendorf rolled a 210-581 to lead Schoharie to a WAC victory over Canajoharie at Middleburgh Lanes on Friday.

Seth Walker added a 201-565 for the Indians, who finished with a 2,509-2,362 advantage in total pins.

Barry Yerdon had a 223-543 to lead Canajoharie, while Dereck Mereness added a 202-508.

Schenectady New Year’s Invitational

SCHENECTADY — The Gloversville and Amsterdam bowling teams competed at the 12th annual Schenectady New Year’s Invitational at Boulevard Bowl on Friday.

Hoosick Falls won the team title with 3,796 pins, while Mohonasen was second with a total of 3,768. Columbia (3,767) was third, Mechanicville (3,687) was fourth and Schalmont (3,680) was fifth. Gloversville was 11th with 3,456 pins and Amsterdam was 12th with 3,366.

Niskayuna’s Kyle Smith finished with the high series with 744, while Mohonasen’s Josh Ross was second with a 722. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake’s Derek Bellamy was third with a 704.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake’s Steve Zarub had the high game with a 300, while Ross posted a 279.

Canajoharie 4, Berne-Knox-Westerlo 0

GUILDERLAND — Melissa Bates had a 169-478 to lead Canajoharie to a sweep of Berne-Knox-Westerlo in a Western Athletic Conference match at Town N Country Lanes on Monday.

Katelynn Kruger posted a 155-423 for the Cougars, who finished with a 1,973-1,918 advantage in total pins.

Marissa Schanz led Berne-Knox-Westerlo with a 164-456 and Katie Morseman added a 180-389.

Fonda-Fultonville 4, OESJ 0

AMSTERDAM — Jessie Rowe rolled a 165-423 to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville at Kelly’s Imperial Lanes on Monday.

Faith Coleman had a 135-349 to lead the Lady Braves, while Hope Freeman posted a 122-317. Mackenzie Quillan added a 126-314 for FFCS, which finished with a 1,624-1,437 advantage in total pins.

Isabel Handy finished with a 125-324 for Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville.

Fort Plain 4, Mayfield 0

CANAJOHARIE — Gabriella Jenks finished with a 211-590 to lead Fort Plain to a WAC victory over Mayfield at Iroquois Lanes on Monday.

Emma Oldick had a 177-455 for the Lady Hilltoppers, Shantel Kretser recorded a 161-418 and Rachel Zuppardi posted a 158-406. Sarah Murphy added a 132-370 for Fort Plain, which finished with a 2,250-1,573 advantage in total pins.

Madison Dann had a 177-428 to lead Mayfield, while Megan Dion had a 130-325. Justice Dolly added a 115-313 for the Lady Panthers.

Schoharie 2, Canajoharie 2

MIDDLEBURGH — Mandy Williams rolled a 190-527 to help Schoharie to a draw with Canajoharie in a WAC match Friday at Middleburgh Lanes.

Tori Harrington posted a 179-496 for the Indians, who finished with a 2,346-2,339 advantage in total pins.

Melissa Bates had a 201-582 to lead Canajoharie, while Chloe Hoffman added a 189-508.
