H.S. Bowling Roundup: Amsterdam tops Gloversville, 3-1
GLOVERSVILLE — One day after Gloversville posted a 4-0 victory over Amsterdam, the Rams turned the tables Tuesday.
Amsterdam notched a 3-1 victory over the Huskies at Arterial Lanes, handing Gloversville its first loss of the season.
Kai Brennan posted a 253-603 to lead Amsterdam, while Donavan Lazier had a 228-586. Matt Sawitzki notched a 242-558 for the Rams, Jon Wolff rolled a 232-552 and Patrick Hyam added a 213-541.
Aiden Carter finished with a 212-595 to lead Gloversville, while Riley Griffiths had a 198-558. Mark Sgambato posted a 227-552 for the Huskies, Brad Wisniewski had a 201-551 and A.J. Dorman added a 220-546.
Amsterdam finished with a 3,335-3,290 advantage in total pins.

CANAJOHARIE — Taylor Gifford had a 211-598 to lead Fort Plain to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Middleburgh at Iroquois Lanes.
Brady Fureno posted a 201-588 for the Hilltoppers, Damien Young rolled a 189-549 and Zack Young added a 216-549.
Andrew Miaski finished with a 224-580 to lead Middleburgh, while Kyle Miller had a 231-582. Tyler Mann added a 214-560 for the Knights.
Fort Plain finished with a 2,849-2,590 advantage in total pins.

CANAJOHARIE — Cameryn Shultes had a 186-525 to lead Middleburgh to a Western Athletic Conference victory over Fort Plain at Iroquois Lanes.
Gwen Porter finished with a 187-525 for the Knights, Jaidyn Rose rolled a 207-525 and Dannielle Chichester posted a 192-506.
Gabrielle Jenks rolled a 206-562 to lead Fort Plain, while Rachel Zuppardi posted a 184-521. Emma Oldick had a 188-459 for the Lady Hilltoppers and Bri Krutz added a 149-421.
