Lady Raiders roll past Cayuga

JOHNSTOWN — In its final game of the first semester, the Fulton-Montgomery Community College women’s basketball team cruised to a 62-47 victory over Cayuga Community College on Wednesday in a Region III contest.

Niamani Marshall had 17 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds to finish with a triple-double for FMCC. Marshall also had five steals for the Lady Raiders.

Kendra Lavery had a game-high 18 points for FMCC. Lavery also had seven rebounds and four steals.

Kerri Hauser had 11 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and five steals for the Lady Raiders.

Fatimaah FIndley and Brianna Hirschman each had 10 points to lead Cayuga. Jania Freeman had 13 rebounds and Tori Mandel added 10 rebounds.

FMCC wraps up its first semester with a 6-3 overall record. The Lady Raiders are scheduled to kick of the second half of their season Jan. 12 when they are slated to host Niagara County Community College at 1 p.m.

Cayuga (4-4 overall) is scheduled to host Mohawk Valley Community College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
