H.S. Bowling Roundup: Johnstown gets past Queensbury
JOHNSTOWN — Mick Winton finished with a 607 series to lead Johnstown to a 4-0 victory over Queensbury in a Foothills Council bowling match at Perry Lanes on Thursday.
Peyton Bush posted a 166-419 for the Sir Bills, while Logan Harvey had a high game of 147.
Tony Fedele led Queensbury with a 466 series.
Johnstown finished with a 3,155-2,203 advantage in total pins.
The Sir Bills are scheduled to host Hudson Falls on Monday at 4:30 pm.. at Perry Lanes.
Gloversville 3, Glens Falls 1
SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Adam Loveless finished with games of 215 and 279 on his way to a 692 series to lead Gloversville to a Foothills Council victory over Glens Falls at Kingpin’s Alley.
Mark Sgambato posted a 255-661 for the Huskies, Adrian Dorman rolled a 251-601 and Aiden Carter added a 210-545.
Jocelyn Smith rolled a 216-607 to lead Glens Falls, while Peyton Granger finished with a 227-604. Michael Blockburger added a 198-560 for the Indians.
Gloversville finished with a 3,474-3163 advantage in total pins.
The Huskies are scheduled to host South Glens Falls on Monday at 4:30 p.m. at Arterial Lanes.

SCHENECTADY — Logan Steele rolled a 235-620 to lead Schuylerville to a Foothills Council victory over Scotia-Glenville at Boulevard Bowl.
Carson Griffen posted a 222-616 for the Black Horses, who finished with a 3,598-3,430 advantage in total pins.
Nick Auspelmyer posted a 257-655 to lead Schuylerville, while Aiden Bisaillon had a 227-592.
South Glens Falls 4, Hudson Falls 0
SOUTH GLENS FALLS — Will Bickford had games of 204, 257 and 275 to lead South Glens Falls to a Foothills Council victory over Hudson Falls at Kingpin’s Alley.
Jacob Hall rolled a 255-656 for the Bulldogs, Mykal Brunelle posted a 228-645 and Chris Sharpe added a 223-635.
Gavin Bennett posted a 234-627 to lead Hudson Falls, while Jon Lemery finished with a 235-604.
Catherine Randall rolled a 214-536 for the Tigers and Logan Bennett added a 193-525.
South Glens Falls finished with a 3,674-3,311 advantage in total pins.
