Boys Basketball Roundup: Dragons get past Indians

GLENS FALLS — Dante Bouchard finished with a game-high 27 points to lead Gloversville to a 60-53 victory over Glens Falls in a Foothills Council boys basketball game Friday at Glens Falls High School.

The Dragons left 27-26 at the half before outscoring the Indians by a 33-27 margin in the second half to earn the win.

Joseph Rowback had 15 points for Gloversville (2-0 overall, 2-0 Foothills), while Giogio Glionna finished with nine points. Anderson Jones had nine assists for the Dragons.

Noah Girard finished with 17 points to lead Glens Falls (1-1 overall, 1-1 Foothills), while Nick Danahy had 15 points and 10 rebounds. David Barclay added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Indians.

Gloversville is scheduled to travel to Amsterdam on Tuesday, while Glens Falls is slated to host Broadalbin-Perth on Tuesday. Both games are set to begin at 7 p.m.

Cam Woodard scored 11 points for South Glens Falls (1-1 overall, 1-1 Foothills), while Jake Aday added nine points.

Keegan Feinour and Abe Miller each had 12 points for Johnstown, while Chano Cross had nine points.

Johnstown (0-2 overall, 0-2 Foothills) is scheduled to host Scotia-Glenville on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Spartans led 37-20 at the half before the Tartans mounted a comeback by outscoring Queensbury 40-26 after the break.

Bryce Bleibtrey finished with 15 points for Queensbury (2-0 overall, 2-0 Foothills), while Sean Collins added 11 points.

David Frisoni scored 22 points to lead Scotia-Glenville (0-2 overall, 0-2 Foothills), while Antonio Cianfarini added 18 points.
