FMCC men drop season opener

JOHNSTOWN — Latyce Faison finished with 30 points to lead Onondaga Community College to a 95-65 victory over Fulton-Montgomery Community College in a Region III men’s basketball contest Saturday.

Jakhi Lucas scored 15 points for Onondaga (3-1 overall), while Sunday Joshua had 14 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks.

Brandon Holmes and Khalil Muhammad each had 10 points for FMCC (0-1 overall), while Terrell Evans pulled down 10 rebounds.

The Raiders are scheduled to host Schenectady County Community College on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
