Coaches vs. Cancer scheduled to take place at FMCC
JOHNSTOWN — The Western Athletic Conference boys varsity basketball coaches will host its seventh annual Coaches vs. Cancer Tip-Off Classic at Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Dec. 7 and 8.
Over the past two years, the event has raised more than $8,000 for the American Cancer Society.
A record total of 11 schools will take part in this year’s event.
This year’s event includes the following schools — Schalmont, Burnt Hills, Hadley-Luzerne, Galway, Bishop Maginn, Madrid-Waddington, Richfield Springs, Canajoharie, Northville, Sharon Springs, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville, Edmeston, Middleburgh, Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons, Wells, Salem, Mayfield, Fonda-Fultonville and Fort Plain.
All proceeds from the two-day event will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
