Mother Nature wins at Glen Ridge

FULTONVILLE — Wet weather forced the postponement of Sunday’s racing card at Glen Ridge Motorsports Park.

The Wingless Racers Alliance show has been rescheduled for July 14.

Glen Ridge will return to action next Sunday as the Palmer’s Service Center fueled by Sunoco modifieds will compete in two 25-lap features.

The Red Chair 602 crate modifieds, limited sportsman, Yurkewecz Auto Crusher pro stocks, street stocks, Electric City mini-stocks, all-star slingshots and the Northeast Paving & Sealcoating junior slingshots are all on the racing card. In addition, the track will host the Jason A. Morrison Memorial 20-lap event.

Pit gates will open at 2 p.m., Grandstands will open at 3 p.m., hot laps are set to begin at 4:30 p.m. and heat races are set to start at 5 p.m.

The general admission fee will be $10, seniors $8 and children 11 and younger $2. Pit entry will cost $25.
