Gloversville to host field hockey clinic

GLOVERSVILLE — The Gloversville field hockey program will host a summer clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 2 to Aug. 8.

The clinic is open to third- through sixth-graders and will take place from 6 to 7:15 p.m. at Gloversville High School.

Registration will take place the first night on July 2.

The cost will be $40 per child and includes a pinnie. For two children, the cost will be $65.

Sticks and balls will be provided.

Participants will learn the basic skills of field hockey.

Participants will need to bring water, a mouth guard, and shin guards.
