H.S. Softball Roundup: Scotia-Glenville gets past Gloversville, 15-3

SCOTIA — Sophia Schaub had a triple, double, single and scored three runs to help Scotia-Glenville to a 15-3 victory over Gloversville in a Foothills Council softball game Wednesday.

Schaub also earned the win in the circle for the Lady Tartans, allowing seven hits, striking out 10 and walking one.

Kelly Mayette had two doubles, a single, five RBIs and three runs scored for Scotia-Glenville (9-2 overall, 7-1 Foothills), while Megan Charnews had a double, single, two RBIs and three runs scored.

Michaela Ponticello had a triple, single, RBI and scored a run for Gloversville (1-14 overall, 0-9 Foothills). Nature Conyne had two singles and scored a run for the Huskies and Jordan DeMagistris added a single.
