Canajoharie’s Luke Van Slyke signed his letter of intent to play basketball at SUNY Oswego during a ceremony at Canajoharie High School on April 30. Van Slyke, the son of Neal and Lorraine Van Slyke, will accept a scholarship to play men’s basketball at SUNY Oswego. The college’s basketball team is a NCAA Division III program. Van Slyke, who reached the 1,000-point mark for his career this winter, is a two-time, first-team Western Athletic Conference all-star and a two-time WAC Most Valuable Player.
