Parslow, Pritchard help Sage to win

ALFRED — Senior guard Emily Parslow (Fonda-Fultonville) scored a game high 25 points and The Sage Colleges women’s basketball team scored 26 in the fourth period in route to a 71-56 Empire 8 win over host Alfred University at Galanas Family Arena Saturday afternoon.

The Gators are now 7-7 in the league and 12-11 overall while the Saxons stand 2-10 in league play and 6-15 for the season.

Parslow, who scored 53 points in her two weekend games, made six three pointers in the game. She added four rebounds and four assists and now has 1,337 career points, third all-time and behind former teammate Gen Schoff ’18 (1,394) in second place. Freshman forward Giuliana Pritchard (Amsterdam) led all players with nine rebounds for Sage.
