Dolgeville volleyball loses in quarterfinals

DOLGEVILLE — Carly Lyndaker finished with 11 kills, four aces and two blocks to help sixth-seeded Sandy Creek to a 3-0 victory over third-seeded Dolgeville.

The Comets won by scores of 25-18, 25-6 and 26-24.

Lainie Hathaway had 15 digs, nine kills and eight aces for Sandy Creek (13-5 overall), Bailey Fahnestock posted 18 digs and Sarah Balcom added eight kills, eight digs and four blocks.

Emma Bilinski had 16 digs and two kills for Dolgeville, while Jazz Grassel had seven kills and one block.

Rylee Lamphere finished with four digs, three kills and three aces for the Blue Devils, Breanna Potts had 10 digs, three aces and two kills, and Kinsey Randall had 10 digs, five assists and two kills.

Meredith Minor-Foster had five digs for Dolgeville, while Olivia Davies and Sam Hoke each had four digs

Dolgeville finishes its season with a 17-4 overall record.

Sandy Creek will face second-seeded Onondaga in Tuesday’s semifinals at Mount Markham.
