Philo nets 38 in Gloversville win

GLOVERSVILLE — Harmony Philo hit her second 38-point game of the season to lead Gloversville to a 69-60 victory in Foothills Council girls basketball action Thursday at Gloversville High School.

Kendra Lavery joined Philo in double figures with 16 points, while Daley Jo Christman and Alecea Jones both finished with six points and Madelyn Avery chipped in with three.

Ashlyn O’Neil paced Scotia-Glenville with 17 points, while Jazmyne Corker finished with 15 points and Kayla Mitchell chipped in with eight.

Sandy Gonyea added 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Ryanne Williams added 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists, four steals and three blocks.

Jessica Evans led Canastota with 18 poins, while Carley Cashel finished with 12 points and Taylor Stevens finished with 10 points.
