O’Neil playing for Sage golf team

OSWEGO — The Sage Colleges’ men’s golf team wrapped up play Sunday at the 21st annual Oswego State Invitational. Sage finished in 10th place for the tournament with a 710 (360-350).

Sage stood in ninth place after one day of action with a score of 360, while the Lakers of Oswego State’s “A” Team which fired a 309 and was in first. Leading the way for the Lakers was Corey Marshall finished as the medalist picking up a two-day score of 148.

Sage freshman Aidan O’Neil, a Canajoharie graduate, posted an 86 on day one and 91 on day two to finish 42nd with a score of 177.
