Gloversville rallies past Broadalbin-Perth

BROADALBIN — Gloversville rallied from two one-goal deficits to post a 4-3 victory over Broadalbin-Perth in a Foothills Council boys soccer contest Tuesday at Patriot Field.

Kadin O’Shaughnessy scored twice for Gloversville, while Damian Bruce had a goal and an assist. Raymond Strauser also scored for the Dragons.

Brady Goodemote scored twice for B-P, while Kyle Denman also scored. Sam Rogers had two assists for the Patriots.

Gloversville scored the game’s first goal when Strauser scored on an assist from Bruce in the fifth minute.

The Patriots answered with back-to-back goals by Goodemote on assists from Rogers in the seventh and 11th minutes.

Gloversville evened the game at 2-2 just 11 seconds before halftime when Bruce scored an unassisted goal.

B-P regained the lead early in the second half when Denman scored from long range to make it 3-2.

The Dragons answered with a goal from O’Shaughnessy in the 59th minute to knot the game at 3-3.

O’Shaughnessy netted the game winner for Gloverville in the 75th minute on an assist from Bruce to make the final, 4-3.

Gloversville outshot B-P by a 15-8 margin.

Cayden King made five saves for the Dragons, while Jack Marsden made 11 saves for the Patriots.

Broadalbin-Perth (7-5 overall, 6-4 Foothills) is scheduled to travel to Hudson Falls on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. contest.

Gloversville (2-9 overall, 2-8 Foothills) is set to travel to Glens Falls on Friday for a 4:30 p.m. game.

Frankfort-Schuyler 5, Dolgeville 0

FRANKFORT — Gio Randazzo finished with two goals and two assists to lead Frankfort-Schuyler to a victory over Dolgeville.

Jordan Kane had two goals and an assist for the Maroon Knights, while Eli Brahman also scored. Nick Duffy and Jack Bono each had an assist for Frankfort-Schuyler.

Alex Rusev made just one save to post the shutout for the Maroon Knights.

Bradley Lamphere made 16 saves for Dolgeville (5-7 overall).

On Sept. 26, Garrett Lettow scored the only goal for Dolgeville in a 2-1 loss to Canastota on Sept. 26.

Owen Davies had an assist for the Blue Devils.

Jonathan Bovair made four saves for Canastota.

Lamphere made nine saves for Dolgeville.
