FMCC women lose three during pod play

CANANDAIGUA — The Fulton-Montgomery Community College women’s volleyball team traveled to Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday for Region 3 pod play. 

The Raiders lost all three matches by scores of 3-0.

The Lady Raiders fell to Finger Lakes 3-0 in the first match by scores of 25-15, 25-13 and 25-13. Tesa Brody posted six kills and nine digs for FMCC, Michelle Ferraino had 10 assists, and Destiny Prather posted three blocks.

The Raiders also lost 3-0 to Monroe Community College, losing by scores of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-23.

Camryn Leggett had nine kills for FMCC, while Port added eight kills. Brody finished with 16 digs for the Raiders and Ferraino posted 18 assists. 

In its final match of the day, FMCC dropped a 3-0 decision to Genesee Community College by scores of 25-15, 25-25 and 25-14.

FMCC is scheduled to travel to Troy to face Hudson Valley Community College on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
