Lady Rams top Gloversville for first victory of the season

GLOVERSVILLE — The Amsterdam girls soccer team picked up its first victory of the season, defeating Gloversville 1-0 in Foothills Council action Thursday at Gloversville High School.

Delianna Figueroa scored what proved to be the game-winner off a corner kick midway through the second half to give the Lady Rams the win and put their record at 1-3-2 overall and 1-3-1 in the league.

With the loss, Gloversville drops to 4-4-0 overall and 2-3-0 in the Foothills.

Broadalbin-Perth 2, Johnstown 2

BROADALBIN — Johnstown battled the host Lady Patriots to a draw in Foothills Council action Thursday at Broadalbin-Perth High School.

Lauralie Granier and Alayna Preston scored goals for Broadalbin-Perth, while Coryne Leonard had an assist.

Kaylee Newkirk and Mango Delgado hit the back of the net for the Lady Bills, while Grace Fitzgerald and Carolyn Fitzpatrick each had an assist.

Hope Buboltz made eight saves in goal for Johnstown and Morgan Rossi had four stops for the Lady Patriots.

Dolgeville 4, Herkimer 0

HERKIMER — The Lady Blue Devils got a three-goal performance from Rylee Lamphere as they improved their record to 3-1-1 overall and 2-0 in the league.

Gabby Kenyon also scored for Dolgeville and Alexis Smith picked up an assist.

Kurstin Gay and Peyton Mckinney combined to make 15 saves in goal for the Magicians.
