AHS girls tennis loses to Glens Falls

GLENS FALLS — Glens Falls won four of five singles matches to post a 4-3 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council girls tennis match Tuesday.

Anna Liu, McKenna Clark, Ella Hartenberg and Ella Crossman all won singles matches for Glens Falls (1-0 overall, 1-0 Foothills).

Crossman, a sophomore, won the match for the Indians with a three-set victory over Amsterdam’s Emily Yandik.

Natalie Flint won at first singles for the Lady Rams.

Isabella Agresta and Jasmine Rodriguez won at first doubles for Amsterdam (0-3 overall, 0-2 Foothills), while Emma Pierce and Abby Peninger won at second doubles.
