AHS girls tennis loses to Glens Falls

AMSTERDAM — Glens Falls won three of five singles matches and one doubles contest to post a 4-3 victory over Amsterdam in a Foothills Council girls tennis match Wednesday.

Anna Liu, McKenna Clark and Ella Hartenberg all won singles matches for the Indians.

Margie Layden and Julia Westfall won at first doubles for Glens Falls (3-4 overall, 3-4 Foothills).

Natalie Flint and Emily Yandik won singles matches for Amsterdam (0-7 overall, 0-6 Foothills), while Abby Peninger and Emma Pierce won at second doubles.
