Broadalbin-Perth golfers remain unbeaten

HUDSON FALLS — The Broadalbin-Perth Patriots ran their early season record to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the league with a 168-175 victory over Hudson Falls in Foothills Council golf action Thursday at Kingsbury National Golf Course.

The Patriots Matt Danise led all golfers with his round of 39, while Stuart Bond shot 41, Mike Piska 43 and Logan Sweeney 45 to round out the B-P scorers.

Ben Swartz led Hudson Falls with his round of 40, while Eric Purdy shot 43 and Zane Ovitt and Nate Stickney both carded 46s.

GANESVOORT — Ethan Wager carded a 38 to led Johnstown to the Foothills Council victory Thursday at Airway Meadows Golf Club.

Tyler Kortz shot 40 for the Sir Bills, while Colin Kowalski added a 46 and Conner Diviyak added a 47.

Shamus Mulderry led South Glens Falls with his round of 39, while Trevor Corlew shot 44, while Zach LaFave turned in a 50 and Willis Bickfor shot 52.


Northville/Mayfield 13, Berne-Knox-Westerlo 2

RAVENA — George Abdella turned in a round of 46 to lead the Northville/Mayfield golfers to a Western Athletic Conference victory Thursday at Sycamore Country Club.

Gavin Bown finished with a 50 for Northville/Mayfield, while James DeRonda and Cameron Abdella and Dillan Salvione all carded 53s.

Will Boltri led all golfers with his round of 42 for BKW, while Sean Motschmann shot 48, Caleb Schrader had a 55 and Hunter Stevens turned in a 72.

Schoharie 15, Northville/Mayfield 0

COBLESKILL — Schoharie’s Shane Helmstadt carded a Sectional qualifying score of 39 to lead the Indians to victory over Northville/Mayfield Wednesday at Cobleskill Golf and Country Club.

John Polley turned in a round of 46, while Louis Hardendorf shot a 49 and Ethan Vanderwerken shot 53.

George Abdella led Northville/Mayfield with his round of 48, while Gavin Bown shot 57.

Galway 15, Fort Plain 0

BALLSTON SPA — Ryan Lovelass carded a round of 34 to lead Galway to victory over Fort Plain Thursday at Pioneer Hills Golf Course.

Matt Smith shot a 46 for Galway, while Nick Zuk had a 47, Sam D’Alessandro shot 49, Sam Meahr 52 and Josh Lovelass a 53 for the Golden Eagles.

Taylor Gifford led Fort Plain with his round of 44, while Zackarie Young shot a 57. Evan Crouse and Luke Doxtater both shot 69s, while Rob Rogers carded a 76.
