Amsterdam rallies past Saugerties, 7-6

SAUGERTIES — Amsterdam scored twice in the top of the ninth to rally for a 7-6 victory over Saugerties in a Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League game at Cantine Veterans Memorial Field on Monday.

Michael Ludowig had a two-run single to provide the tying and winning runs for the Mohawks. Ludowig finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Amsterdam.

Elvis Peralta Jr. was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored for the Mohawks, while Cole Barr was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Richie Barrella and Shane Muntz each had doubles for Amsterdam, while Justin Foscue added a solo home run.

Jordan Kozicky and Andrew Taft each had a double, single and a RBI for Saugerties, while Dillon Lifrieri added a double.

Amsterdam is scheduled to host Oneonta today at 6:35 p.m. at Shuttleworth Park.
