Running to battle cancer

November 9, 2013
The Leader Herald

My name is Bill "Sears" Rowback. I am running for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I raise money to help cure blood cancer by running different races during the year.

I will be going to Walt Disney World from Jan. 8 to 12, 2014, and will attempt to run 3.1 miles on Thursday, 6.2 miles on Friday, 13.1 miles on Saturday and 26.2 miles on Sunday, for a total of 48.6 miles.

My goal is to raise $6,000 to help cure cancer. If you have been blessed and would like to donate, you can help by donating two ways.

First, you can visit pages.teamintraining.org/uny/wdw14/wrowback or you can send a check to me at 93 First Ave., Gloversville, NY 12078. Please make the checks out to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All donations are tax-deductible. With your help, we can provide hope, peace and freedom to individuals battling blood cancer.
