Benefit breakfast at moose

October 25, 2013
The Leader Herald

JOHNSTOWN - There will be a pancake breakfast benefit for Jef Conine from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday at the Johnstown Moose Family Center, 109 S. Comrie Ave.

The menu will include pancakes, eggs and sausage. The tickets cost $6. Presale tickets can be purchased at Something Special, 14 W. Main St.

Conine needs a stem-cell injection, an alternative to a lung transplant, and his insurance covers some of the cost, but he needs about $5,000 for the procedure and medications to regain his health, a news release said.

The event will include a silent auction and a 50-50 raffle.

Those expected to be in attendance include Katelynn Smith, Miss Fulton County; Morgan Mooney, Miss Fonda Fair; Alexys Conti, Junior Miss Fonda Fair; Lillian Lighthall, Junior Princess Fonda Fair; Alexa Christiano, Princess Fonda Fair; and Amanda Boyer, America's National Miss New York.
