Gerry Walter "Sonny" Breault, 61, of Blackshear, Ga., died Tuesday afternoon (Oct. 22, 2013) at Mayo Clinic Health System of Waycross after a lengthy illness. He was born in Gloversville, N.Y. to the late Henry Walter Breault and Maude Rose Van Dyke Pikul. Mr. Breault lived here for twenty-three years and worked at Walker-Jones Chevrolet for the past thirteen years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, John Pikul.
Survivors include two sons, Gerry Breault Jr. and his wife, Julie of Brooksville, Ill., Brian Breault of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Rose Whiddon and her husband, Bill of Waynesville, Ga., Mildred Sue Breault and her husband, Garry Cheney of Blackshear; five grandchildren, Leah Breault, Gerry Breault and Brianna Breault, all of St. Petersburg, Fla., Chelsea Lofgren and her husband, Shaun and Zachary Breault, all of Brooksville, Ill.; one great-grandson, Aden Lofgren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Miles-Odum Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
