GLOVERSVILLE - The Gloversville girls volleyball team improved its overall record to 11-3 with a 3-0 non-league victory over Schoharie on Tuesday at Gloversville High School.
The Huskies swept the Indians on game scores of 25-12, 25-17 and 25-16.
Jenna Putnam led Gloversville with 13 assists, six aces and two kills, whiloe Christina Pavlovsky had seven assists. Chelsey Biasini had five kills and four aces, while Ana Kroup recorded eight kills and three aces.
Emily Pieniazek led Schoharie with eight service points and six kills, while Gabrielle Danthine had six kills and an block and Rebecca Stevens added seven points and two blocks.
Gloversville stands at 7-3 against Foothills Council competition.

SCHENECTADY - Cy'Anne Frazier had eight kills, three service points and an ace to lead the Patriots to a Big 10 victory.
Sara DeFruscio had 10 kills and an ace, while Tanaia Medley had 15 service points and two aces. Brielle Lazarri contributed 18 digs, eight service points and two aces.
Cassidy Arocho had seven assists, two aces and a kill for Amsterdam, while Yari Laboy had four kills and an ace and Jess Andersen added two kills and an ace.
