Rovena Scribner Kipka Robinson, 72, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, peacefully at her home in Dublin, N.H., surrounded by her family following a long illness.
She was born October 25, 1940, in Gloversville, N.Y., daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Campbell) Scribner. She was a 1958 graduate of Gloversville High School and in 1962 received her bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire in Durham. She later earned her Master's degree from Antioch College.
She will be dearly missed as a mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas F. Robinson of Dublin; her three sons, Campbell Kipka and his wife, Jessica, Colin Kipka and wife, Rachel, Alexander Kipka and Katherine Nintzel; her sister, Natalie Klohck of Johnstown, N.Y.; her brother, Gene Scribner and wife, Barbara of Francestown, N.H. Ravena also was predeceased by her brother, Wayne Scribner. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Shirley Little of Fish House; three stepsons include Tom Robinson and his wife, Debbie, Jay and Karl Robinson; eight grandchildren, include Chloe, Astrid and Mather Kipka of Peterborough, N.H., Natasha and Catrina Kipka of Dublin, N.H., Kenneth Robinson of Oregon, Sara and Jennifer Robinson of Ohio.
Family and friends honored and remembered Rovena's life by gathering for calling hours at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202S) in Jaffrey, N.H. on Sunday, June 30, 2013.
Burial in the Dublin Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.
