JHS?alpine team skis at West Mountain

GLENS FALLS - The Johnstown ski team tuned up for today'd Johnstown Invitational at Royal Mountain with a solid showing Thursday at West Mountain.

Colin Dalmata and Sara Kosowicz registered top-10 performances for Johnstown

Dalmata placed eight in the boys varsity single run slalom event with his time of 38.40.

Kosowicz was 10th in the girls varsity event with her time of 44.62.

Lukas Levin placed 26th for the Sir Bills with his time of 46.38, while Noah Western was 41st in 56.48 and Austin Stergas was 44th in 58.24. Joel Levin, Zack Simone and Nick Salatel also skied for the Sir Bills but did not record times.

Reily Kotwasinski placed 31st for the Lady Bills with her run of 57.42, while Whitney Western placed 33rd with a 59.02. Emily Havlicek placed 36th in 59.84 and Helaina Stergas was 41st in 1:05.46.

Hannah Keener and Serena Smith also competed but did not record times.

Today's Johnstown Invitational will consist of a two-run slalom competition starting at 9:30 a.m. at Royal Mountain.
