Boys Basketball Roundup: Wells posts win over Westport, 62-44

WESTPORT - Jake Earley scored 14 of his game-high 20 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the second half to lead Wells to a 62-44 win over Westport in a Mountain and Valley Athletic Conference boys basketball crossover game.

Ben Brenan scored 12 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and had seven blocks for the Indians (4-3 overall, 4-3 MVAC), who trailed 23-22 at the half before outscoring Westport 40-21 in the second half.

Ryan Davis finished with 12 points and 13 rebounds to lead Westport.

DOLGEVILLE - Mark Hennings scored 15 points to lead Poland past Dolgeville.

Trevor Pillmore finished with 13 points for the Tornadoes (4-6 overall), while Mark Shelhammer added 10.

Brandon Lewindowski scored 10 points to lead Dolgeville (0-8 overall), while Bryce Dineen added nine points.
