H.S. Bowling Roundup: Johnstown sweeps Broadalbin-Perth, 4-0

JOHNSTOWN - Jim Marshall rolled a high game of 249 on his way to a 732 series as Johnstown swept Broadalbin-Perth, 4-0, in a Foothills Council bowling match at Perry Lanes on Monday.

Morgan Ruggeri rolled a 259-694 for Johnstown, while Alyssa Hadcock posted a 223-587.

Cody Husek posted a 228-672 to lead Broadalbin-Perth, while Dan Guminey rolled a 205-544.

Johnstown finished with a 3,666-3,188 advantage in total pins.

Gloversville 3, Scotia-Glenville 1

GLOVERSVILLE - Mike Marotta rolled a 198-569 to lead Gloversville to a Foothills Council win over Scotia-Glenville at Arterial Lanes.

Ben Vannostrand posted a 201-564 for the Huskies, while Devon Davis added a 205-586.

Ryan Karabin rolled a 264-691 to lead Scotia-Glenville, while Stephen LaMalfa posted a 21-574. Ryan Bekkering added a 234-540 for the Tartans.

Gloversville finished with a 3,192-3,157 advantage in total pins.


Middleburgh 4, Mayfield 0

MIDDLEBURGH - Hunter Guest rolled a 237-641 to lead Middleburgh to a win over Mayfield.

Bill Miaski posted a 204-592 for the Knights, while Adam Warner added a 556 series.

Fort Plain 4, Mekeel Christian 0

SCOTIA - Aaron Honeywell registered a high game of 257 on his way to a 631 series to lead Fort Plain to a sweep of Mekeel Christian.

David Wilday rolled a 235-544 for the Hilltoppers, while Kyler Duff posted a 208-544. Drew Fureno added a 211 high game for Fort Plain.

Jared Doriski rolled a 206-513 to lead Mekeel Christian.

Fort Plain finished with a 2,755-2,331 advantage in total pins.

Big 10

Amsterdam 5, Schenectady 2

SCHENECTADY- Zack Arsenault bowled a high game of 266 on his way to a 706 series to lead Amsterdam to a win over Schenectady.

Billy McGaffin posted a 222-661 for the Rams, while Jake Cetnar added a 229-604.

Thomas Bisbrow posted a 261-626 to lead Schenectady.

Amsterdam finished with a 3,689-3,636 advantage in total pins.

The Rams will host CBA on?Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.



Mayfield 3, Middleburgh 1

MIDDLEBURGH - Carly Poyfair finished with a 215-564 to lead Mayfield to a Western Athletic Conference win over Middleburgh.

Selena Barber added a 501 series for the Lady Panthers.

Brittany Nelson rolled a 494 series to lead Middleburgh.
