H.S. Volleyball Roundup: St. JOE loses to N.Y. Mills

NEW YORK MILLS - Marissa Cavanaugh finished with seven digs, six kills, three aces and two blocks to lead New York Mills to a 3-0 win over St. Johnsville/Oppenheim-Ephratah in a Center State Conference volleyball match Wednesday.

The Marauders won by scores of 25-10, 25-14 and 25-17.

Mackenzie Lyons posted eight digs and seven kills for New York Mills (2-0 overall, 1-0 CSC).

Shelby McCumber finished with seven kills and five digs for St. Johnsville/Oppenheim-Ephratah (1-2 overall, 0-1 CSC), while Ashley Hill had 12 assists and 11 digs. Hannah Taylor added 12 digs for St. Johnsville/Oppenheim-Ephratah.

Dolgeville match postponed

DOLGEVILLE - The Dolgeville volleyball team had its home match with Adirondack postponed by illness Wednesday.

The match was recheduled for Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. at Dolgeville.
