Honor pets with lights

December 4, 2012
The Leader Herald

The James Brennan Memorial Humane Society is offering members of the public the opportunity to honor their past and present pets by participating in our annual Christmas tree lighting.

For a $5 donation, a light will be placed on our outdoor Christmas tree in honor of a pet. Names of donors and pets will also be written on a special ornament and displayed at the shelter.

To send a donation, use the form that was printed in The Sunday Leader-Herald on Page 7A, or call the shelter at 725-0115 for more information.

The tree will be lit Monday and remain lit until Jan. 1. In addition to supporting the shelter, this event is a wonderful way to remember our animal friends and the comfort and joy they bring year- round. It also is a great gift to animal lovers during this holiday season.
